when it comes to all types of floor coverings, carpet,in my opinion, is the main one that you really need someone that knows what they are doing to lay it….its not exactly real hard it’s just you need experience because you run into a lot of different situations and the tools you use are something that only experience teaches……..as far as saving money,I know Lowes and H/D had that good deal of either 99 bucks or 199 bucks installation fee no matter how much carpet you get……Don’t know if it’s still on,but can’t beat that……

  1. IVY says:

Go to a carpet store and look at their remnants. You can get a room size rug and have it bound or look on Craig’s list in your area for a carpet layer looking for side work. Even my husband wouldn’t lay carpet. Good luck!
