Question by : My girlfriend and I want to start our own porn site?
We’re both young and attractive but we’re kind of clueless about how to actually get started.
I read about infrastructure, servers, content management systems, and all that stuff. We don’t know what that means. We don’t even know how to make a website.
Anyone want to manage everything for us? Obviously you would get a portion of the profits. Or can someone just give me a step by step guide? What should we do?

you need a DOMAIN and a HOST, so go to bluehost.com and buy those
once you get the web server up, you can use TEMPLATES people make for websites, maybe one specifically made for your situation.
However I would like to state you shouldn’t put pictures of yourself up (if that’s what you intended on doing) because if you ever break up your fucked for life.

its to complicated to implement the security measures you would need. If your trying to make money it probably wont be made this way. Porn on the internet is mostly free. I dont think people want to pay just to see one couple every time. try something like xtube < google search

DO NOT use free hosting companies if you want to be taken seriously. They will put their company’s name on your site. Not the case with Dollarhostnow.com – I use templates and host them with dollarhostnow.com
God doesn’t like that such attractive creatures create a porn site. Be happy with together, but don’t build such a website.

Unless you can afford a fully featured and secure website (really you’d have to get something built for you and the running costs may be too high) it’s a non-starter, you also need to find a niche market; cheap “gonzo” porn is everywhere and everyone is downloading pirated porn videos so you’ve got to cater to a very narrow audience – there’s a lot of fetish porn that people will pay good money for especially if they can’t find it elsewhere.
it’s very easy to upload videos to the internet but not so easy to make people pay money for them.

You’ll have to get creative, I think some people sell porn videos on NiteFlirt. I suppose possibly you could even try giving it away for free but with a “donate” option like you see on freeware programs.
If you want to make money without any up front investment, don’t waste your time. I have been on the technology side for many years and get approached with website ideas where I get paid once the website starts making money.
I’ve never taken anybody up on that offer, but I have always tracked the people/ideas to see how they fared. I actually keep it in an Excel spreadsheet…cause I’m a geek that way. Currently my list shows that out of 71 people/ideas who wanted to start a website with little to no up front investment, 69 people failed, 1 person is still struggling after two years and 1 person actually got their idea off the ground and is moderately successful.
If you truly believe in your idea, get the money together and hire a professional. The problem with having someone work for a potential cut of the profits are: (1) they are probably doing the work “on the side,” which means the work isn’t a priority to them – so when you want something done faster, they don’t care, because they are making any money off it, (2) there is a greater potential for that person to walk away in the middle of things.
So to sum it up, work with a professional who you are paying – you can get people to work on a fixed-price budget, and ONLY pay after certain milestones are met, e.g., once the basic unrefined website is up and running, you pay 30% of the total cost.
Dude there are plenty of them for porn stuff you dont go pls. Do some work and be happy with your partner!
