All of the reviews on this product are discouraging, but I imagine any failure of this cable is a fault on the user’s end. First, you need to understand how this cable works and if you have the appropriate DVI port. You need to make sure your port is dual-link; simply search Google images for ‘dual link dvi’ and see if the pictures match your port. Second, it is important to understand that this cable simply splits the digital signal into two equal signals. This means the two monitors you’re splitting between should be the same resolution and, more helpfully, have the same refresh rate. Moreover, this cable will only allow the screens to be duplicated; you cannot extend across monitors with this cable.
I split the signal to two 1600×900 monitors and it works flawlessly. The image is clear without disturbances.

Not so great. I can’t use it for dual monitors as 1 monitor always shows up fuzzy, not worth the price or time!

Hooked it up every which way and it simply does not work. The monitor screens were blank no matter what settings I used in Windows 7.
