Q&A: How expensive would it be for two weeks in hawaii for two?

Question by Ruth: How expensive would it be for two weeks in hawaii for two?
Me and my partner are looking to book a two week stay in hawaii. We would like to be all inclusive but realistically will probably go self catering. We’re travelling from london, does anyone know of rough prices for this? Its clearly going to be very expensive all together but does anyone have any cost cutting tips? We’re also likely to go through an agency like Thompson as id probably get conned online haha! Any help would be appreciated :)

= There is no time when a vacation in Hawaii does not sound like a brilliant idea, even though these tiny islands in the Pacific are heavily touristed pretty much year-round. Yes, the top beaches may be crowded, and the price of a night out might make your eyes pop, but you are still going to go. Why? Because there is only one Hawaii on the planet. The good news is that there are ways to save money on your trip, even if you are traveling in the peak season. One of the best ways is to book a cheap hotel in Hawaii so you can spend your leftover accommodation budget on other (more fun) things.
